2025 celebrates the Leipzig Trade Fair several anniversaries. Then it will be 860 years of Leipziger Messen and 130 years of MusterMesse. The impressive tradition leads to a successful present: with its "MusterMesse 4.0" strategy, Leipziger Messe intends to continue its dynamic upswing in the coming years.
Key components of the corporate strategy are increased new business and the consistent internationalization of events, a focus on service orientation, investments in a modern infrastructure and digitalization as well as the further development of the sustainability strategy. A few examples show exactly what this looks like. Key point: new business. New business is being driven forward with the development of new formats, acquisitions and cooperation with new contractual partners, and the portfolio of attractive industry meetings is being continuously expanded. Keyword sustainability: Under the motto "Growing in Balance", Leipziger Messe is investing in sustainable energy, among other things. The most recent milestones: the trade fair company has been using 100 percent green electricity since 2023 and in May 2024 commissioned a rooftop photovoltaic system that can cover 15 percent of its internal electricity requirements.
Leipziger Messe's impressive past has given rise to the self-image that it will continue to be a platform for business and trade and an economic and innovative driving force with trade fairs, congresses, conferences and exhibitions in the future.
