Schirgiswalde. From November 1, 2024, Jens Pietzonka will be the new Food & Beverage Manager at the five-star Hotel Bei Shoemaker. With decades of experience in top gastronomy, including in renowned Michelin-starred restaurants such as the Söl'ring Hof and the Villa Mertonhe will continue to develop the hotel's culinary offering, the hotel announces.
For the past nine years, Pietzonka has been Managing Director of Wine center Dresden and has won the "Sommelier of the Year" award several times. The Schumann family, who run the hotel, are looking forward to the collaboration and are confident that Pietzonka will create exceptional culinary experiences for their guests, she emphasizes.
