Dresden. The congress and conference location will be presenting itself until May 16 Dresden on the IMEX Frankfurt, the largest European trade fair for the global meeting, event and incentive industry. The trade fair appearance was organized by the Dresden Marketing GmbH (DMG). "Alongside the IBTM in Barcelona, IMEX Frankfurt is the most important trade fair for us in congress marketing. In order to present ourselves well, we have developed a new trade fair stand and have strong partners at our side with the Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden, Messe Dresden and the Robot Valley Saxony industry network," says Corinne Miseer, Managing Director of DMG. Business travelers are therefore an important target group within marketing. To date, they account for around 35 percent of overnight stays in the Saxon state capital.
More than 7,000 participants from all over the world have been accredited for the trade fair. "Our aim is to attract many of the planned congresses, conferences or incentives to Dresden and thus further strengthen the congress and conference location," continues Corinne Miseer. The slogan "Meetings.Moments.Memories" will be used for advertising. Dresden stands for an "outstanding mix of locations, short distances, first-class culture and top expertise in business and science."
And because attracting attention is particularly important at a trade fair with so many participants, DMG has taken support with it. The industry network Robot Valley Saxony and has given the Dresden Convention Service team a Barista Bot at the side. The robotic arm prepares coffee directly at the trade fair stand and serves it in proper style with a Saxon egg roll. After IMEX, a group of seven employees from congress agencies and associations will be visiting Dresden for three days at the invitation of the industry network "Dresden Conventions Bureau" and the DMG to get to know Dresden as a congress destination.
