Saxon butchery receives German Brand Award

Richter Fleischwaren GmbH from Oederan was able to impress with its authentic brand.

Oederan. The company Richter Fleischwaren GmbH & Co. from Oederan was awarded the German Brand Award 2024 award. The prize is awarded annually by the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute Foundation and recognizes the best brands and their creators. Richter won in the "Excellence Brands" category and also received the "Special Mention" award for the
"Corporate Brand of the Year".

The company won over the jury "with its authenticity and clear commitment to its culinary home region of the Ore Mountains". "We are overjoyed and proud to have received the German Brand Award 2024. This award is recognition of our many years of work and our commitment to the region and our brand. Our thanks go to the entire team and all of the company's employees, whose dedication and hard work have made this success possible," says Claudia Richter, Head of Marketing at Richter Erzgebirge. The company has been in existence since 1969 and today employs around 700 people in 112 stores in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony-Anhalt.
