DE Elbland as a business location
The Elbland business location is characterized by a particularly wide variety of industries. Glass, metal, wood, plastics and ceramics are processed here. There is mechanical engineering and microelectronics, print shops, pharmaceutical companies, logistics firms and food producers.
Almost all of the nearly 40 large industrial parks are being used to capacity. This is also due to the good local infrastructure. With highways 13, 14 and 4 and a dense federal road network, the region is quickly accessible from all directions. The planned expansion of the B 169 and the likewise announced expansion of the suburban rail network should further increase the attractiveness of the Elbland for companies and employees.
