Oschatz. The company Roma is significantly expanding its capacities in Oschatz. In recent months, a production hall has been built in the Fliegerhorst district. The topping-out ceremony for the building shell will be held on July 14. It covers around 10,000 square meters and is thus twice as large as the previous hall. This is to be understood also as location commitment of the manufacturer for sun protection systems, it is said. Planning and construction partner is the company Freyler Industrial Construction based in Riesa, which manages the investment from the customized design concept to turnkey implementation.
Roma was founded in 1980 in Kleinkötz in Bavaria, today employs around 1,600 people at six locations and supplies roller shutters, external venetian blinds, textile screens and garage doors to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and the Benelux countries.
